Tracy Coley is a former University of Georgia public relations professional who now spends her time writing, editing and designing for magazine and book projects. She also enjoys mentoring students as part-time journalism instructor at UGA. She is former editor and digital content creator for Boom Magazine, a quarterly news publication based in Athens, Ga. In her spare time, Tracy writes about grief and its intersection with faith and family in her blog Messy Grief. Her work, "Unspeakable Grief," was a semi-finalist in the creative nonfiction category in the 2021 North Carolina Literary Review annual writing competition. Tracy holds an MFA in narrative nonfiction and an ABJ in advertising, both from the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism.
